The designed building is located in resort town Birštonas. The project takes into account the architectural features typical of Birštonas: vertical lines, large glass verandas and doors, buildings oriented with the ends of their roofs towards the streetscape, and a palette of natural colors dominates. During the reconstruction, the silhouette of the existing single-story building with its beautiful proportions is preserved, and the projected second-story extension is colored differently from the first-story part of the building, thus deliberately creating a contrast between the existing and newly designed parts of the building.
